Original Mutterkreuz gold medal, third class of the Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter, also known as the German Mother’s Cross or Mother’s Cross Gold. This is one of the most recognizable German civil awards from the late 1930s and the IIWW / WWII period.
