Original five-piece German historical badge and tinnie collection dating from 1928 to 1938, including a 14. Deutsches Turnfest Köln 1928 ribbon souvenir, Tag der Arbeit 1935 badge, 1. Mai 1938 commemorative badge and two additional period insignia. An interesting mixed collection illustrating German civic, sporting and political commemorative culture between the Weimar Republic and the Third Reich period.

Original WWII German Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter, or War Merit Cross 2nd Class without Swords, dated 1939 and retaining its characteristic red, white and black suspension ribbon. This example displays a distinctive dark aged surface, strong surviving details and an attractive untouched historical appearance.

Original German interwar-period aviation pin featuring a sailplane in flight beside the famous Fliegerdenkmal at the Wasserkuppe in the Rhön, one of the historic birthplaces of German gliding. Bronze-toned circular badge with surviving horizontal pin fastening, probably dating from the 1930s.

Original WWII German Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter 3rd Class in Bronze, commonly known as the Mother’s Cross or Mutterkreuz. Second-pattern example with blue and white enamel, period blue-white ribbon and the 16 December 1938 reverse with facsimile signature.

Original Imperial German Württemberg Silver Military Merit Medal from the reign of King Wilhelm II, bearing the inscription “Für Tapferkeit und Treue” – “For Bravery and Loyalty” – and the signed portrait of Wilhelm II by court medallist Karl Schwenzer.

Rare WWII German Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 1. Stufe, the gold-grade Air Defence Honor Decoration dated 1938, with distinctive cross design, “Für Verdienste im Luftschutz” inscription and purple ribbon with black-white-red borders.

Original WWII German Reichsarbeitsdienst RAD leader’s cap badge featuring the organization’s distinctive spade, wheat-ear and swastika emblem in silver-coloured metal with red and black enamel.

Original WWII German Heer metal visor cap eagle, manufactured in lightweight silver-coloured metal with detailed Wehrmacht eagle and wreathed swastika. Two original attachment prongs remain on the reverse.
